Grab a fun surprise selection of items from HackerBox surplus. After eight years of making HackerBoxes, we have so much crazy surplus to share with you. The photos shown here are random examples of actual Surplus Surprise boxes. Each box is different. A Surplus Surprise Box will usually include PCBs, modules, component grab bags, cables, tools, wires, or supplies. Of course, there is usually a handful of stickers and swag items. The modules may include sensors, comms, displays, and usually at least one microcontroller. You even get free domestic shipping!
FINE PRINT: Each Surplus Surprise Box is unique and the contents are randomly selected. We try to pack a fun mix of items into each box, but reasonable minds may disagree about what is fun. Unreasonable minds will always disagree. If you struggle with being reasonable or with having realistic expectations, a random grab bag of stuff that we found sitting around our lab and warehouse is probably not a wise purchase for you. The Surplus Surprise Boxes are roughly the same size as the monthly HackerBoxes, but they are not complete HackerBoxes. The items in a Surplus Surprise Box probably have nothing to do with one another. They are useful for parts but they will usually not combine to create a particular project unless you are some kind of wizard. If you actually are some kind of wizard and manage to combine a pile of unrelated crap into something interesting, please send us a photo. We might just send you another surplus box on the house.
